Truck Lands Upside Down in Lake Bluff Crash

Police charged the driver with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Lake Bluff police responding to a report of a rollover accident found a Chevy pickup truck upside down in a parking lot near the intersection of Route 176 and Shagbark Lane.

Police said the driver, who was found conscious and standing next to the vehicle, was drunk when he drove off the road and flipped the vehicle shortly after 10 p.m. Jan. 18.

Jonathan P. Haight, 30, of the 14000 block of King Court in Green Oaks was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and driving without insurance.

His court date is Feb. 14 the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.
