Woman Arrested for Domestic Battery, Resisting Arrest

Police say she pushed an officer and resisted police attempts to handcuff her.

Driving while license suspended

Neri Suarez-Escorcia, 35, of Waukegan, was stopped for driving without a headlight at 3 a.m. May 7 and taken into custody when the officer learned she was driving on a suspended license. She was released on $1,500 bond and given a June 3 court date.

Police responded to a 911 call for a disturbance at a home in the 1800 block of West Bowling Green at 7:30 a.m. May 6. As they were trying to calm the household members, police say Xiaofeng W. Lindholm, 52, pushed an officer and then resisted the officer’s attempts to handcuff her. She was charged with domestic battery, interfering with the rporting of domestic battery and resisting arrest. She was released on $5,000 bond and given a May 29 court date.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Earnest C. Vickers, 39, of Grayslake, was stopped at 11:30 p.m. May 4 at Waukegan and Deerpath for driving without a headlight and taken into custody when drug paraphernalia was found in his car, police said. He was cited for the possession of drug paraphernalia, released on $120 bond and given a June 17 court date.
