Garbage, Recycling Pickup Postponed to Monday
Snowstorm cleanup requires all hands.
Lake Forest will not collect refuse or recycling on Thursday (Feb. 3) and Friday (Feb. 4) due to the 20-inch snowfall in the last 24 hours and the concentration of Public Works personnel on snow removal and cleanup.
This effort, which has workers logging 12-hour shifts, includes all Sanitation personnel.
Collections will resume on Monday (Feb. 7).
