Lake Bluff Park District Celebrates Rec Center's 10th Anniversary

Come join the Family-oriented activities.

t marks the 10-year anniversary of its Recreation Center featuring an array of family activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (May 7) at the center, 355 W. Washington Ave.

Activities include:

  • 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: “Taste of Group X” (Fitness Center), a free 20-minute sample classes for ages 14 and above
  • 10 - 11 a.m.: Free throw contest
  • 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.:  Free health screenings (chair massage, blood pressure, body mass index, posture analysis (S.A.M.), muscle and nerve screening, and osteoporosis screening.
  • 11 - 11:45 a.m.: Children’s storyteller - Dot Kane
  • Noon: Star Dazzlers Dance team performance
  • 12:30 p.m.: O’Hare School of Dance Irish Step dancing performance

Guest Services staff will be available to help participants with program registrations, purchase of pool and beach passes, and shelter rentals. A free drawstring bag will be given to the first 100 summer camp registrations.
