Lake County Forest Preserve Holds Job Fair, Volunteer Open House, Jan. 4

Volunteers needed for variety of jobs; paid jobs available at golf courses.

 

Lake County Forest Preserve staff will host a Volunteer Open House and Job Fair on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Drop in anytime between 5 and 7:30 p.m. at the General Offices located at 1899 West Winchester Rd. between Butterfield and Route 45 in Libertyville. The event is free and open to adults and youth ages 15 and up. No registration required. For more information, call 847-968-3324.

At the event you can review volunteer descriptions and meet with staff to find the ideal fit for you. Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of jobs, both indoors and outdoors, at forest preserves and special facilities throughout Lake County.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to help.

You can also gather information about 2012 seasonal jobs at the three Forest Preserve Golf Clubs: Brae Loch, Countryside and ThunderHawk. Attendees can fill out applications to be hired for food/beverage attendant, guest services attendant, golf coordinator and merchandiser of golf pro shop. Golf representatives will be available to answer questions and provide details about job duties and benefits
