Lake Forest Residents Sought for Deerpath Golf Advisory Committee

Applications due Nov. 4.

officials are seeking residents interested in volunteering to serve on a 7-to-9-member golf advisory board to provide recommendations on the operation of Deerpath Golf Course.

Applications are available on the golf course website, the city's website, at City Hall, 220 E. Deerpath, and at the golf course, 500 W. Deerpath.

Applications are due by 9 a.m. Nov. 4 to Robert Kiely, city manager of Lake Forest, or by e-mail to kielyr@cityoflakeforest.com.

Members will be appointed by Lake Forest City Manager Bob Kiely. They will be selected based on their current use of Deerpath Golf course, professional background, and ability to represent the golfing interests of the community-at-large.

The committee has been established to promote the golf course's services, and bring new ideas to areas like marketing, customer service and fiscal operations.

The committee will be in effect for a minimum of one year, and may be extended by the city. The City Council expects to announce committee members at its Nov. 21 meeting.
