Michael Jordan To Auction Highland Park Mansion
The bidding starts at $21 million for 56,000 square foot, nine-bedroom, 15-bath compound.
On the market for more than 18 months, Michael Jordan’s 56,000 square foot mansion is still available.
But, perhaps not for long as the former Chicago Bulls superstar and Hall of Fame basketball player will auction it off Nov. 22, according to a story in the Chicago Sun-Times.
Originally listed for $29 million, the 56,000-square-foot-home home, built between 1993 and 1995, includes nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and an indoor basketball court, according to previous reports on Patch. The price was reduced to $21 million earlier this year.

When the property was originally listed, the Chicago Tribune reported that if Jordan's home sells for "anywhere near that asking price, it would be the most expensive, publicly listed home sale in the Chicago area."
The minimum bid will be $21 million, according to the Sun-Times article. There is also an indoor pool deck linking the main house to the guest wing. And, of course, there is a National Basketball Association quality basketball court.
