The Bottom Line: Lake Forest fell behind twice and came back three times to win. After the Eagles scored on their first possession, the Scouts tied the game, 7-7, with 1:18 left in the first quarter on a 34-yard touchdown strike from Clifford to Glynn. Lakes took the lead again with 5:26 remaining in the third quarter, 13-7, before Cirame’s 10-yard touchdown run knotted the score, 13-13.
In the fourth quarter, Clifford found Glynn for the third time of the nightfor the winning 41-yard touchdown throw with 5:01 to go in the contest. Lake Forest is now 3-0 for the season.
