Scouts’ Star Performer: Samantha Culbertson and Megan Salm both did their parts by each smacking a single for the Scouts. Salm’s hit scored Lake Forest’s only run.

Other Notable Scout Performances: Shawdee Sariri, Lauren Johnson and Cynthia Stamelos contributed by making notable plays on the field.

Who's Next: Lake Forest travels to Fox Lake to take on Grant High School at 4:30 p.m. today (May 18).

The Bottom Line: All six of the Scouts’ seniors participated in their last game at home. Abby Jacob kicked off the Senior Day celebrations in a pre-game ceremony, singing the National Anthem. Sariri, Johnson, Stamelos, Salm, and Culbertson each started on the field, and remained in the game all seven innings. A post-game barbeque with Libertyville’s team finished up the festivities for the Scouts.

Scouts’ Star Performer: Matt Lawrence's home accounted for the lone Lake Forest run.

Other Notable Scout Performances: Chris Godinez, Charley Gould and Zach Lucas each had a hit.

Who's Next: Lake Forest hosts Grant High School at 4:30 p.m. today (May 18) and closes the regular season at Deerfield at 4:30 Friday (May 20).

The Bottom Line: The Scouts managed only four hits, struck out five times and had no walks.
