Cherokee Student Receives Heart of Gold Award
Honors memory of late Cherokee student Daniel Jaekel.
Julia Fiordaliso, a fourth grader at , has been chosen the recipient of this year's Heart of Gold Award.
The award was created to honor the memory of Daniel Jaekel, a former Cherokee student who died in 2005 at age 11 of a heart condition.
