The final APT Fine Arts performances are coming up in the next few weeks. The BFG will be performed at the elementary schools on March 21-22. The Giver will be performed at DPM on April 5th. Both performances are coordinated by the APT and funded through a grant from the Spirit of 67 Foundation. The BFG is a theatrical production, adapted from Roald Dahl’s well-loved, classic book, designed specifically for a kindergarten through fifth grade audience. The Giver is a full theatrical production based on the Newberry award-winning novel by Lois Lowry and is designed specifically for students in grades 5-8. This novel is also part of the eighth grade Language Arts curriculum at Deer Path Middle School.
