Deadline for LFHS Schedule Changes Arrives Monday

Services start early for college bound seniors.

Deadlines for Lake Forest High School students, particularly college bound seniors, are popping up as soon as July turns into August Thursday.

Schedules were sent to students Monday and any changes must be submitted on an online form by 3 p.m. August 5. The form can be found here.

For those students who want to get a jump on the college application process, the counseling and transcript office will reopen August 19 and begin processing records needed to go with university applications.

Students can also complete college applications online, register with the National Collegiate Athletic Association Clearinghouse and submit ACT test scores online or with a phone call (319-337-1270).

Once school starts, the counseling office will coordinate the process and can send letters of recommendation, the Lake Forest High School secondary report form, transcripts, high school profile and class schedule in one package.

“Sending all these materials together will insure a streamlined process for both the high school and the colleges,” the school said in a news release.

Incoming freshmen and new students must compete their physical medical examination by Thursday.
