Deer Path Debate Team Places Third at Tournament

Parents, staff and community members are invited to attend the District 67 4th Grade Art Fair, March 4 to April 5 at Gallery 300 (300 South Waukegan) featuring artwork from students at Cherokee, Everett, and Sheridan. A Community Reception will be held Thursday, March 7, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Congratulations to the Deer Path Middle School Debate Team for placing third in the Conference Debate Tournament. The team consists of Jack Armstrong (8) Co-Captain, Carra Wu (8) Co-Captain, Brennen Long (8), Rory Robb (8), Spencer Oakley (8), Alex Banta (8), Connor Clemmensen (8), Blaise von Ohlen (7), Ike Lyons (7), Anna Bazell (7), Garrett Buccelli (7), Cathal O’Sullivan (7), Peter Haggerty (6), Will Dee (5), James Randolf (5), and Lauren Buccelli (5). Top Speaking Awards went to Anna Bazell (7), and Carra Wu (8). The following students were also recognized throughout the debate season with individual speaking awards, and will be participating with other award winners at the North Suburban Debate League's Conference All-Star Debate Tournament: in Bannockburn: Jack Armstrong, Carra Wu, Spencer Oakley, Alex Banta, Anna Bazell and Connor Clemmensen.
