DPM Recycle Electronics Drive

The 8th grade graduating class at Deer Path Middle School is holding a Recycle Electronics Drive on Saturday, April 21, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. Your technology recyclables will raise money for the DPM class of 2012 community gift for the new sports complex at Lake Forest High School. This is a great opportunity for our school families and community members to clear out old electronics that cannot be included in your regular trash disposal. Items can be dropped off at the back of Deer Path Middle School, located at 95 W. Deerpath in Lake Forest (take Hastings Road to the back of the school).  All electronics will be recycled by Universal Recycling Technologies, LLC (URT), a national electronic and universal waste recycling organization, headquartered in Janesville, WI.  Universal Recycling Technology is e-Steward Certified so you can be assured all data bearing devices are disposed of securely.

Items accepted at no charge at this event include computers, televisions, monitors, and general electronics and accessories. Items that are not accepted include appliances, dehumidifiers, fluorescent lamps and any mercury-containing devices
