Finding Your Dream Career

Presented by: Jill MacFadyen, MSIR, ACC – Career Coach  & Kellogg Career Counselor

Whether you are thinking about entering the workforce or seeking new employment – exploring your interests, passions, and talents will make it easier to determine a path and focus for your job search.  If you are unemployed, viewing this time as an opportunity to explore options – “What do you want to do when you grow up?” - can make the difference between finding a position and finding a calling that feeds your sole.  Most career paths are a matter of happenstance.  You may have been recruited out of college, been asked to join a friend at their firm, and stumbled into an opportunity that seemed to make sense.  Take this time to determine what it is that makes sense.

  • Are you happy with your current career or job?
  • Do you have a career or volunteer activity that energizes you?
  • Do you have a focus for your search?

If you answered “no” to any of the above, then come to “Finding Your Dream Career”.  In this interactive session, Jill will guide you to a better understanding of yourself and your values – the first step in finding your ideal work.
