Lake Bluff Middle School Drug & Alcohol Panel: What Every Parent Should Know

 

Local professionals and Lake Bluff Middle School students will join together to form a panel to discuss the impact of drugs and alcohol in our school and community.
Panelists and areas covered will include:

  • The 8th grade students from the Project Citizen team who are currently researching the issue and developing an action plan
  • Deborahanne Reimer, Tri-District Student Assistance Coordinator: A review of local statistics (grades 6‐12) and current community strategies
  • Dr. Heather Hale: Identifying counseling and recovery supports
  • Linda Hegg: Discussing the impact of drug and alcohol use
  • Judge Christopher Stride: Reviewing Lake County legal considerations


The panel discussion will take place in the school's Library Media Center.
