Malin Offers Assistance with Early Stages of Grief

 

Lake Forest resident of Lake Forest, a certified coach with a specialty in grief recovery and life crisis assistance, will be the guest speaker at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at t, 700 North Sheridan Road.

Malin, a bereaved mother who lost her 11-year-old son, Steven, in an accident in 2003, will offer the topic, “Seeking Lifesigns From Our Loved Ones,” and be available for a question-and-answer session and book sales/signing following her presentation.

Malin is the published author of the book, “When You Just Can’t Say Good-bye, Don’t – A Mother’s Personal Journey After Losing a Child”, www.movingforwardhangingon.com, a Chicago-based newspaper columnist, and a professional motivational speaker on the topic of finding hope, purpose and gratitude after life-changing loss.
