Open Lecture by Paula Lillard: "Coordination Between the Mind and Movement"
Paula Polk Lillard, internationally respected expert on Montessori education, will give a talk for parents and expectant parents at Forest Bluff Montessori School. Lillard cofounded the school in 1982, has served on the board of directors of the Association Montessori International, and has authored four influential books and countless articles on Montessori theory and practice. The lecture, “Coordination Between the Mind and Movement,” will be followed by questions and discussion. The Parent Child Series provides an introduction to Montessori education for families with young children; also throughout the fall are Practical Sessions, in which parents and young children under eighteen months explore a Montessori environment together. A full schedule is at forestbluff.org. To attend the event or to schedule a tour of the school, call 847-295-8338.
