The Nose Knows - an Introduction to Canine Scent Work
This class is different from any other class you may have taken. Each dog and handler work one at a time teaching dogs to use their nose to find food. Eventually the dog can be taught to find specific scents, in preparation for competition in this new and exciting sport.
While this doesn't sound hard you will find that it is extremely challenging for most dogs. Each dog will be given the chance to have several successful runs per class. Each class will last 1 to 1-1/2 hours. The class is scheduled for six weeks at a cost of $125. Enrollment is limited to a maximum of six dogs per class.
