"Footloose" Takes the Stage Featuring Efforts of Nearly 100 Students

Student-led tours highlight May 1 Open House to celebrate 75th anniversary.

April 27-28 are non-attendance days for freshmen, sophomores, and seniors who have satisfied their diploma requirement for taking the Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE).  April 29 is a Teacher Institute Day (no school for all students). The PSAE will be administered at Lake Forest High School April 27-28.  As a condition of receiving a Lake Forest High School diploma, the Illinois State Board of Education requires this exam be taken by all juniors, as well as any seniors who have not yet satisfied this requirement.  The PSAE also incorporates an ACT assessment. Freshmen, sophomores and seniors who have satisfied their diploma requirement, do not report to school on these two days (unless arrangements have been made with teachers, coaches, or club sponsors.)  More information can be found at www.lfhs.org.
