Gorton Community Center Presents Middle School Movie Night

Students vote for film to show at Gorton auditorium.

 

Thanks to input from Lake Forest fifth and sixth grade students, the will launch its inaugural Middle School Movie Night with the original version of The Pink Panther from 7-9 p.m. Feb. 3.

The center's Junior Board of Kate Morris, Brooks Kreiling, Mary and Christina Gregg, Tommy Glyman, and Kiley Kennedy from ; Bo Sensenbrenner and Bridget Collins of , and Will Hanson, Shane Lynch, Matthew Roszypal, and Nicholas Bauer chose three movies from an initial group of 20. They presented the three choices to their schools.

This is the second initiative from the Gorton Middle School Parent Board and Junior Board, which organized a Grotto Dance Party last fall for sixth graders.

Movie tickets are $10 per person and are available starting today (Jan. 18) at www.gortoncenter.org.
