Holiday Guide: Sounds of the Seasons
An ensemble of concerts are planned for the month of December featuring various groups from Lake Forest and Lake Bluff. Check them out to help you tune into the holiday spirit.
Enjoy the sounds of the holidays this year by attending a holiday concert put on by students in the community. Various schools, from early education to collegiate level will perform harmonic melodies as we approach the coming holidays.
The Department of Music at Lake Forest College will host its annual Holiday Concert Sounds of the Season December 7 at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature the Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Chamber Singers, and Concert Choir.
The Lake Forest High School's annual Holiday Concert & Spaghetti Dinner is set for December 16. The band and orchestra concert will begin at 3 p.m. in the Raymond Moore Auditorium, followed by the spaghetti dinner with open seating in the cafeteria from 4:45 -6:45 p.m., ending with the Choral Holiday Concert at 7 p.m. in the Raymond Moore Auditorium.

District 67 schools have various holiday shows planned. Cherokee Elementary will have it's holiday show December 21. Sheridan Elementary and Everett Elementary will be December 14. For more information on each show, contact the school.
Activator Music Academy will host its Holiday Recital on December 14.
