Lake Forest (8-2) Will Play Batavia (10-0) Next Saturday Afternoon

football team will play its second round Class 6A State playoff game at 1 p.m. next Saturday (Nov. 5) at Batavia High School against the host Bulldogs.
Both teams won their opening games Friday night. , while Batavia (10-0) rallied from a 28-7 deficit at home to beat Notre Dame, 35-28.
The schedule mirrors Lake Forest's playoff appearance last year when the Scouts throttled Shepard in the opener, 45-25, and then traveled to Crystal Lake South the following Saturday and lost, 28-17.

Batavia is one of three No. 1 seeds in the Class 6A State bracket. Last year, Crystal Lake South was also a No. 1 seed and unbeatenat the time of playing Lake Forest.
