Auditions Set for Talent Show, “The Final Countdown”

Curriculum Orientation Night provides registration assistance for middle school students, parents.

 

Class of 2016 parents and students are invited to Curriculum Orientation Night from 6-9 p.m. Jan. 25 at Lake Forest High School, 1285 N. McKinley Road. LFHS counselors will provide an overview of the registration process, and will share a variety of course possibilities for a student's four-year plan; and in classroom format, faculty members will answer questions and present specific information about course offerings.

 Parking is limited, so shuttle bus service will be provided from both the Lake Bluff and Deer Path Middle Schools starting at 5:30 p.m. 


Core Course Level Change Request Consultations/Adjustments

The LFHS student winter performance of  "Far from the Tree: The Stories That Have Shaped Us" will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 27 and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28 in the David Miller Theater at Lake Forest High School East Campus, 1285 N. LFHS Student Council sponsored “Turnabout” dance will be held from 7:30-11 p.m. Jan. 28 in the LFHS Commons, East Campus, 1285 N. McKinley Road.  There will be dessert and dancing and semi-formal attire (jacket and tie required). Tickets will be on sale during lunch periods the week of Jan. 16 for $40 per couple (guests from other schools are allowed, guest forms are available in Deans’ Office and required at time of ticket purchase). Lake Forest High School Talent Show “The Final Countdown” auditions are Jan. 28-29. Audition forms are available to download at www.lfhs.org. Audition times will be given on a first come, first serve basis. No audition forms will be accepted after 3:15 p.m. Jan. 20, or once audition times are full. Performances will be March 1-3.

The Lake Forest High School theater department is excited to announce the audition dates for the spring musical, “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying” will begin Jan. 31 and continue Feb. 1.Students auditioning are required to attend both audition days. Auditions will begin immediately after school in the Raymond Moore Auditorium and will end when every student has had a chance to audition. A call back list will be posted by Feb. 2 and call backs will be Feb. 3.
