Students Attending Prom Must Travel by Bus

Music trio earn Illinois Music Educators Association all-state honor.

Lake Forest High School students and their dates are required to travel by bus to and from prom. Through the efforts of Project Safe Prom, LFHS is able to lease the 18-20 buses required to transport more than 800 Prom attendees at an estimated expense of $23,400. Each year, the Junior Class is responsible for raising the funds. To date, the Junior Class has raised $15,000. More help is needed to reach this year's goal. LFHS parents are encouraged to donate to this important effort. To be recognized as a donor in the Prom invitation, donations need to be received by Feb. 29. Forms and information can be found at www.lfhs.org.
