Meet New Superintendent on April 4

Registration continues for job-shadowing program.

 

The Lake Forest-Lake Bluff-Knollwood communities can meet and his family from 6-7 p.m. April 4  in the Board Room at Lake Forest High School's West Campus, 300 S. Waukegan Road. Mike and his wife, Mari, have three children: Gabrielle (sophomore), Max (8th grade), and Lilia (4th grade).

LFHS Community Saturday Swim School registration is in progress for course dates April 14 to May 26. This spring session will run for seven weeks. There will be a Lifeguard Training class offered over spring break between March 26-30. Registration is in progress and more information can be found at www.lfhs.org.

Online registration for Open Doors Career Exploration continues through April 11. This is done on a first come, first served basis. The seventh annual program will be held on April 24-25. The purpose of this job-shadowing program is to provide students with first-hand, on-the-job experience with professionals in the community and with local volunteer agencies during the two days when freshmen, sophomores and seniors have off from school while juniors will be taking the Prairie State Exams. All freshmen, sophomores, and seniors are encouraged to participate in this unique and valuable program. More information can be found at www.lfhs.org.

LFHS Spring Break is March 26 - March 30. Classes resume April 2. There will be no school April 6.

There will be a regular meeting of the Board of Education of Lake Forest Community High School District 115 at 7 p.m. April 10 in the Board Room at Lake Forest High School's West Campus, 300 S. Waukegan Road
