Lake Forest Wrestling Duo Advance to AAU State Meet
Durbin, Knudsen claim 2nd places at Sectional meet.
Corey Knudsen and Regis Durbin have both advanced to the AAU/Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Freshman/Sophomore State meet after advancing from Saturday's sectionals.
Both wrestlers finished second in their weight classes - Knudsen at 120 pounds and Durbin at 160 - in the sectional meet held at Lake Zurich High School. Also competing from Lake Forest were Peter Glyman (106) and Erik Wasser (132).

A week ago, Durbin won his weight class at the regional while Knudsen, Glyman and Wasser each collected fourth places at Lakes High School.
The State meet will be held March 10-11 at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield.
