Lake Forest's Rees Gives Notre Dame Late Lead, But Irish Can't Stop Michigan

29-yard scoring pass to Theo Riddick rallied the Notre Dame to a 31-28 lead over Michigan with 30 seconds left in Saturday night's nationally televised game.

The Wolverines used those 30 seconds to drive 80 yards in three plays capped by Denard Robinson's 16-yard scoring pass to Roy Roundtree with two seconds left for a 35-31 win in front of 114,000 fans in Ann Arbor.

The Irish are off to an 0-2 start and will try to avoid an 0-3 for only the fourth time in school history when they host Michigan State next Saturday.
