LFHS Varsity Dance Clinic Registration Closed
No walk-in registration due to reaching participant limit.
Varsity Dance team will conduct a Winter Pom-Dance clinic for first through eighth grade students at 5 p.m. Jan. 13 at the East campus, 1285 N. McKinley Road.
Participants learn a dance routine, enjoy a pizza dinner and then perform along with the nationally-ranked team at halftime of the Lake Forest boys' varsity basketball game at 7:30 p.m.
The Varsity Dance team in is the midst of their competition season and have already earned first place in the Pom Division and third place in the Jazz Division at the Universal Dance Association's Milwaukee Dance Championship on Dec. 3.
The next stop is the Chicagoland Dance Championship on Jan. 21 followed by the UDA National Competition in Orlando in February.
The members of the Scouts Varsity Dance team are seniors Emily Johnson, Lexi Oberheide, Simone Stamelos, Allison Vogrich, MJ Massar and Hannah Sacco; juniors Nikki Landsell, Caroline McGavock, Nicole Vargas, Briana Lapetina, Julia Zureikat, Kathleen Kurschner, Layne Suhre and Sarah Whitney; sophomores Maddie Neil and Jennie Lepman, and freshmen Klaire Kaptrosky and Maddie Sheridan.
