9:02: Fenton gets into the end zone on a six-yard keeper by quarterback Joe Butz. The two-point conversion pass fails. Three plays, 36 yards. LF 48, Fenton 12.

Third Quarter

Owen Williams probably won't be back in this one. He has 132 yards on 16 carries. Same for Jordan Beck. Andrew Clifford ran the last couple of third quarter drives. Beck finishes 8 of 13 for 138 yards and 1 TD. Great comeback.

2:40: There is a delay on the field for an injured Fenton player, who is wheeled off on a stretcher. Broughton kicks the extra point. That is 48 unanswered points by Lake Forest since Fenton scored its first TD. LF 48, Fenton 6.

Fenton's offense has minus 21 yards for the third quarter so far.

2:40: Hub Cirame bolts 26 yards for a TD. Lake Forest starters are starting to hit the bench. The four-play, 39-yard drive was aided by a Fenton offsides penalty on fourth and two at the Bison 31-yard line. Bernardi also contributed a nice punt return to put the Scouts inside Fenton territory to start after the Bison were forced to punt from their end zone. Broughton converts the kick. LF 47, Fenton 6.

6:51: Beck finds Duke Durot all alone in the end zone for a 7-yard TD pass play. Baylor Boughton's kick is no good. The seven-play drive covered 69 yards and lasted 2:50. LF 41, Fenton 6.

8:37: A 33-yard pass from Jordan Beck to Luke Bernardi gives Lake Forest a first and goal at the Bison 5. Bernardi has 6 receptions for 119 yards so far.

9:24: Looked like Owen Williams was going to notch TD No. 5, but the 49-yard jaunt was called back on an illegal blocking penalty. Lake Forest still has the ball, first down at the Fenton 38.

11:47: First play for Fenton after the kick-off return. Quarterback Joe Butz throws the ball into the waiting hands of Matt Wagener, who returns the interception 30 yards for a TD. Baylor Broughton makes the kick. LF 35, Fenton 6.

Second Quarter

1:50: Lake Forest ran out the clock on the first half.

4:09: Fenton had a real opportunity to dent the scoreboard after holding the Scouts inside their own 20 and forcing a punt. The Bison took over at the Lake Forest 44 and immediately connected on a 28-yard pass play from Joe Butz to Geneva Wall to the Scouts 16. A personal foul call on first down against Lake Forest pushed the ball to the 8, but the Scouts defense stiffened and held on a fourth and one run by Roman Castellanos.

6:47: Owen Williams scores his 4th TD of the first half. This one came on third down and one at the Fenton 13. He previously had a 10-yard rush. The big play was a 24-yard pass reception by Luke Bernardi from Beck. Four-play drive covered 54 yards in 4 plays and took 1:32. Baylor Broughton makes the kick. LF 28, Fenton 6.

Jordan Beck doesn't look like he has sat out two games. The senior's timing is right on target and shows no signs of any restriction due to the brace he is wearing for the injured left elbow.

After allowing that opening score, the Scouts defense has settled down and been more aggressive in attacking the Fenton offense.

9:55: Owen Williams is at it again. His third TD is from 23 yards out. Baylor Broughton converts this kick. The drive took only four plays, 45 yards, 1:53 off the clock. LF 21, Fenton 6

145 points for Lake Forest. That was a good typo.

11:53: Lake Forest gains a safety after tackling Fenton's Thomas Castellanos in the end zone following a high snap that traveled into the end zone. Nick Keefe and Tom Kutschke were among a gang of Scout tacklers. LF 14, Fenton 6

First Quarter

The quarter ends with Fenton facing second down and 14 at its own 20.

:45: Lake Forest's Owen Williams has his second TD of the game. A 3-yard burst. Two-point coversion pass fails. Two-play drive covers 11 yards and takes 41 seconds. LF 12, Fenton 0

1:26: Lake Forest's David Glynn intercepts a Fenton pass on second down and sets up the offense at the 11-yard line.

2:07: On a broken play, Owen Williams scampers 21 yards for the TD. The senior and quarterback Jordan Beck collided in the backfield on the exchange, but the delay allowed Williams to break into the secondary and then the end zone. The Bison were flagged on the extra point attempt after blocking it. They blocked the second attempt as well by Baylor Broughton. Williams had 3 carries for 43 yards on the 5-play, 60-yard drive. LF 6, Fenton 6.

4:25: Lake Forest defense holds this time and force the Bison to punt. The offense takes over first down at their own 40.

5:40: Fenton gets the ball back after holding Lake Forest to 3 and out. They have the ball, first down at their own 16. The Scouts offense has generated just 12 total yards.

7:20: Fenton scores first on a 38-yard TD pass from Joe Butz to Alan Geneva. The drive covered 73 yards in 5 plays and took just 1 minute, 20 seconds. Their pass offense is going to be challenging. The two-point conversion fails. Fenton 6, LF 0

11:54: Lake Forest started at its own 33 after an 18-yard kickoff return by Owen Williams. Jordan Beck finds Luke Bernardi for a first down completion to the Fenton 49, but from there the Scouts go backwards and lose six yards on two runing plays plus one incompletion and have to punt.
