Post Game Video Interviews: Lake Forest Comes From Behind to Beat Lakes 20-13

The Scouts show resilience in defeating a quality opponent on the road.

This week was the first true test for the Lake Forest Scouts. Give them a passing grade, with honors.

Down 7-0 early in the first quarter and again 13-7 in the second half, the Scouts bounced back for tying scores. Then, late in the game, they went ahead for good on an Andrew Clifford touchdown pass to emerging all-conference candidate David Glynn.

Before the Scouts got on the bus for a celebratory drive back to West Campus from Lake Villa, we talked to running back Hub Cirame. The junior ran 21 times for 103 yards and a touchdown. On the team's game-tying drive in the third quarter, Cirame carried the Scouts on his back, wearing down a tiring Lakes defense for 44 yards on five carries.

We also grabbed head coach Chuck Spagnoli. Also the Scouts defensive coordinator, Spagnoli got strong performances from lineman Tom Kutschke and Rich Daniels. Linebackers Trent Williams and Jack Kutschke played well along with defensive backs Alex Moore and Tom Doherty.
