Video: Post Game: Lake Forest Slams Buffalo Grove 28-7 In Opener

We were inside the locker room for post game reaction from the Scouts romp over the Bison

It was as impressive an opening game as you could have asked for the Lake Forest Scouts football team Friday.

The Blue and Gold dominated the Buffalo Grove Bison in all three phases of the game Friday night, rolling to a 28-7 victory.

First, we spoke to the leader of the offense, quarterback Andrew Clifford. In his first game as a starter, Clifford was terrific, throwing for two touchdowns and 233 yards on 17-of-25 passing. He said after a slow start, the Scouts offense got things in gear against a shaky Bison defense.

The defense, which held Buffalo Grove to just four first downs and no points through three quarters, was impressive as well. Senior lineman Tom Kutschke was in the backfield all night, recording two sacks. He said you can expect the Scouts to play a physical style all season.

Sorry for all that noise in the background. That's the Scouts celebration music. Party on, boys.
