Scouts’ Star Performers:      Kat McKeon and Kylie Carlson each won an event and added plenty of Scout points along the way. McKeon took the uneven parallel bars (9.65), was second in the all around competition (38) and balance beam (9.45) while placing third in the vault (9.5) and floor exercise (9.4). Carlson was victorious in the vault (9.6) while finishing third in on the bars (9.4) and beam (8.9). She was fourth in the all around (36.9) and fifth on floor (9.0).

Other Notable Scout Performances:            Carly Schmidt was fourth on floor (9.2) while fifth in the all around (34.3), vault (9.25) and bars (8.4). Laura Blake took fifth on the beam (7.8).

Who’s Next:   The Scouts host the North Suburban Conference Meet Thursday.

The Final Score:        Zion Benton 68, Lake Forest 36,  

Scouts’ Star Performers:      Gabby Perino scored 12 points while Grace Torkelson added 10.

Other Notable Scout Performances:            Brooke Green chipped in eight tallies while Kate Arnson and Maddy Gailey contributed two each.

Who’s Next:   The Scouts entertain Warren at 4:30 p.m. today.

The Bottom Line:      The Zee-Bees ran out to a 17-4 lead in the first quarter making it hard for the Scouts to catch up. They closed the gap by two points in the second period before a 24-6 Zion run in the third gave the Zee-Bees control the rest of the way.
