Lake Forest Advances to this Weekend's State Tennis Tourney

Boys' cross country team places fourth at league meet.

Scouts’ Star Performers: and stopped Megan Morris and Colleen Morris for the Sectional doubles title.

Other Notable Scout Performances: Elizabeth Zordani finished second and Catherine Orfanos took third in the Warren Sectional.

Who’s Next:  The Scouts play in the State tournament Thursday through Saturday (Oct. 20-22) in Mt. Prospect. 

The Bottom Line: Lake Forest qualified its entire team by winning the sectional, setting the stage for the Scouts to defends their State title.

Scouts’ Star Performer: finished eighth in 15:40.71.

Who’s Next: The Scouts compete in the Libertyville Regional at 3 p.m. Saturday at  

The Bottom Line: Charhut’s eighth place finish helped the Scouts finish fourth in the North Suburban Conference Meet.
