Scouts’ Star Performer: and each won an event and placed second in another. Miller captured the shot put and took second in the discus. Stolzman was victorious in the high jump and runner-up in the triple jump.
Caxys’ Star Performer: Lake Forest Academy's Taylor Click of Lake Forest won the 800 meters and teamed with Quai Chandler, Rickey Larke and Matus Ivanauskas to set a school record in the 800 relay in 1:32.8 en route to a second-place finish.

Other Notable Scout Performances: nabbed first in the triple jump; ran to second in the 3,200; Max von Ohlen grabbed second in the 110 hurdles with personal best 15.9 (actually tied for first and was given second on a coin toss); Brad Strambolic earned a silver medal in the 300 hurdles and Matt Summers was runner-up in the pole vault.
Other Notable Caxy Performances: The 1,600 relay team finished first, Larke was third in the 200 while Spencer Friske ran fourth in the 3,200 and fifth in the 1,600.
Who’s Next: The Scouts host Libertyville and Mundelein at 4:30 p.m. Monday in a triangular. Lake Forest Academy competes in a triangular at 4:30 p.m. Monday against North Chicago and Antioch in Antioch.
The Bottom Line: The Scouts used three first-place finishes and six second place spots to compile enough points for third in the team standings. The Caxys stood out in a pair of relays to earn fifth.
