Top Returning Scouts: Leading Lake Forest this year will be four-year starter along with three-year regulars and Mary Streidel. Coming back to start for a second season are Meredith Huszagh, Jen Krep and Anna Schwartz. Streidel spent the summer helping her club team, Sky High 17 Black, win an AAU National Championship while earning All-American honors.

Leading Newcomers: Keep an eye on Carol Hopfinger and Katherine Lazzara. 

Season Outlook: Deep experience among a crew of 11 seniors has the Scouts packed with confidence. The challenge for coach Ray Werner’s crew will be keeping focus and “embracing the details.”
