Congratulations to LFHS Art students who competed in this year’s “Lisa Show” Best of the Best Show at the Thompson Center May 15: seniors Valerie Berglind, Caroline Kerr, and Maggie Murrens. Berglind competed in the drawing category with her abstract image of the passage of time, executed in colored pencil. Kerr's piece, a surrealistic self-portrait, is in the photography division and Murren's poster design of “History of a Font” is a graphic design piece. Junior Natalie Murawski competed in the painting category with a composition of pears painted with only a palette knife. Junior Sally Lape's three-dimensional self-portrait bust represented the best in 3D.
