Artist creates Jack and the Beanstalk out of balloons.
(LFCDS) students recently enjoyed a successful day at the 2012 Illinois Grade School Music Association (IGSMA) Solo & Ensemble Contest.
This annual contest provides music students an opportunity to perform for a judge and receive feedback from a professional musician. The contest includes woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, string, and vocal events. LFCDA students dominated the first and second place finishes, and seven students achieved a perfect score.
