Survey to Help District 65 Select New Principal

Community input is requested as the district searches for a new Lake Bluff Elementary School principal.

As School District 65 searches for the next principal for Lake Bluff Elementary School, officials want to know what qualities community members want to see in the next leader.

An online survey asks participants to select the top eight “desired characteristics out of 25 choices. The listed characteristics include “Be approachable and trustworthy” to “Provide meaningful guidance around curriculum, instructional support programs and services, assessment programs, and professional development.”

The survey also includes an option for participants to write open-ended responses to the question. Parents and community members have until Oct. 31 to complete the survey.
