It's not what you would consider the breakfast of champions. But that's what Chicago Bears All-Pro linebacker Brian Urlacher eats almost every morning.

The meal contains 250 grams of carbohydrates, still an essential part of any diet, according to Rusty Jones.
Jones, the director of physical development for the Chicago Bears, spoke at a at Monday night. He said all athletes should always eat breakfast and a good balance of "carbs, protein and fats. Small meals are better than big ones."

Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch caught up with Jones before his presentation. Jones also touched on the subject of protein diets, which he believes are not all they are cracked up to be (Video).
One interesting statstic on Urlacher and Bears return specialist Devin Hester. Jones said Urlacher's body fat percentage is between 6 percent and 8 percent, while Hester's is between 2 percent and 4 percent. The average male? Between 15 percent and 19 percent.
