Lake Bluff Heinen’s Slated to Open in September

Heinen’s Grocery is hoping to open its Bannockburn store by late July, according to an article in the Deerfield Review, with the Lake Bluff store opening in September.

Both stores are taking over former Dominick's spaces.

The Bannockburn Green store will be the third in the area. The Ohio-based chain opened a Barrington store in 2012 and one in Glenview earlier this month.

The Bannockburn store is already hiring, with many of the new employees coming from the shuttered Dominick’s, the Deerfield Review article states. The company expects to do the same at their Lake Bluff store.
