Annual Dance-A-Thon

            Lake Forest Dance Academy is excited to be hosting its 6th annual Dance-a-Thon from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, October 2nd at the Lake Forest Recreation Center.

             This four-hour combination dance marathon and fundraising event featuring guest artists teaching dance from cultures around the world has been organized as a fun way to raise awareness of the arts -- and to get people moving -- through dance.

            Interested students ages 8 and up will learn to dance Salsa, Zumba, BeeMoved, Belly Dance, Pilates, Taiball, Yoga and more. No prior dance experience is necessary; all levels of experience are welcome.

            Pre-registration for $25 will be taken on-line and at the Lake Forest Recreation Center or at the door.

            This year, proceeds from the Dance-a-Thon will benefit Benny's World as well as the Lake Forest Dance Academy Development Fund.
