Gallery: Scouts Celebrate Another State Title

State championships may be becoming commonplace for Lake Forest High School as the girls’ hockey team became the third squad to wear a crown this year but Sunday’s victory and celebration at the United Center were anything but ordinary.

Lake Forest’s 2-0 victory over Fenwick was its second title in three years. Playing in the chmpionship game is becoming expected just as it is for field hockey where the Scouts have been in the title match each year since 2000.

The girls’ tennis team became the third part of the Scout trifecta in October taking its second crown in the last three years as well.
