Grevers—Winning a Gold Medal is Cool

Lake Forest swimmer pays tribute to everyone who helped him achieve Olympic success in an interview with 'Millionaires Corner'.

Being the best 100-meter backstroke swimmer in the world makes Lake Forest’s Matt Grevers feel very special, according to an interview published Tuesday on the Millionaire Corner.

Winning a pair of Olympic gold medals and a silver at the London Olympic Games completed last week “was a pretty cool feeling,” Grevers said in the interview with Millionaire Corner’s Donald Liebenson. “To know that you’re the best in the world at something feels pretty good.”

Talking to the financial on line publication, the Lake Forest High School and Northwestern University graduate applied the language of finance to his sport. “Every investment can have a great return,” Grevers said in the interview giving tribute to his hard work and that of everyone who has helped him along the way.
