Lake Forest Academy's Ekakitie Earns All-American Bowl Nomination

Caxys coach Ted Stewart may join him if both are chosen.

Lake Forest Academy junior Faith Ekakitie has been nominated to play in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Only 400 players from across the country received nominations making this an elite group of student-athletes. From the nominees, 90 athletes will be selected to play in the annual East vs. West match-up on Jan. 7, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas.

“Just to be nominated is a great honor,” said Staff Sergeant Albert C. Geimer when he presented Ekakitie with his nomination at the Lake Forest Academy’s morning meeting April 22.
