Lake Forest Field Hockey Team Wins State
Girls secure 11th state title for Lake Forest High School.
Lake Forest High School’s girls field hockey team secured its second consecutive state title over the weekend.
The Scouts beat New Trier 3-0 in Saturday’s championship game at Lake Forest. Lake Forest won Friday’s semi-final game against Lake Forest Academy 6-0.
This marks the 11th state championship for the Scouts, according to the school’s website.

Lake Forest’s championship goals were scored by Payton Mickey, who scored twice, and Emily George, according to the Lake County News-Sun. Both players are seniors.
