Lake Forest High School Dance Team Takes 1st at National Championship
Congratulations to the Lake Forest High School Varsity Pom Pons for their first place win at the National Dance Team Championship!
The Lake Forest High School Varsity Pom Pon squad wowed the nation at the 2013 National Dance Team Championship (NDTC), held Feb. 2-3 at Disney World in Orlando, Fl.
The team placed first in the "Large Varsity Pom" category. The winning performance was broadcast on ESPN2 and can be viewed here.
In addition, the team placed eighth in the "Large Varsity Jazz" category.

Each year, more than 300 high school and all-star dance teams compete at the national championship, which has about 10,000 spectators in attendance.
