Lake Forest, Lake Bluff Begin Postseason League Baseball Playoffs
Champions to be crowned Sunday in Glenview.
The Lake Forest Baseball Assocation's (LFBA) 9U-14U Scouts wrap up their seasons with this weekend's Lake Shore Feeder Baseball League (LSFBL) tournament.
Single-elimination play began Wednesday and continues through the weekend. League championships will be played Sunday (July 31) at Community Park West, 1000 Zenith Drive, in Glenview.
The Scouts have two teams in each of the 9U-14U age groups or 12 teams overall participating in LSFBL. The Lake Forest Scouts compete in LSFBL against other community based travel baseball teams from: Lake Bluff, Mundelein, Park Ridge, Northbrook, Wilmette, Winnetka, Evanston, Kenilworth, Glencoe, Highland Park, Deerfield and Glenview.
