Scouts’ Star Performer: Junior guard Carter Bass scored 22 points, including 16 in the first half (as many as Nazareth scored in the first half). He did not play the final 11 minutes of the game.

The Bottom Line: Hard to imagine this was the same . The Scouts took the initiative on offense early and were able to drop their shots. Their defense was strong throughout, holding the Roadrunners to only 12 field goals overall and only 10 points combined in the second and fourth quarters. The Scouts were able to blow the game wide open with a 15-0 run in the first and second quarters to forge a 27-11 lead. They added another 13-0 run to extend their lead to 42-16 by the 6-minute mark of the third quarter, putting the game out of reach for good.
