The Lake Forest varsity girls swimming team won last week’s meet against Zion Benton High School, a week after its defeat by New Trier.
“We hope to have more excitement as we race the Mustangs ... in their newly renovated pool! (and go for some new records!!),” Head Coach Carolyn Grevers wrote in an email.

On Sept. 6, the varsity girls team lost to New Trier 102-84.
"This was a close meet throughout, but it came to the last few events were we just didn't have the depth to finish the meet as strongly," Grevers said.

The meet will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday at Mundelein High School.
